We’re Francie and Rachel - and yes, we are sisters! Our shared love of fashion and particularly accessories led us to set up Sister Sister Collective in June 2019.
Sister Sister is a collection of stylish and fun fashion accessories curated by us. We believe accessories can make your outfit - and make your day. We love accessories you don’t see every day: distinctive pieces that catch the eye. We buy items we’d buy for ourselves or as a gift for someone else. We love bright colours, tactile textures, shine and sparkle, quirky prints and shapes. We sell embellished headbands, jewelled earrings, glittering bangles, layering necklaces and more. We don’t buy stock in large amounts so there are always new things in store and you won’t see everyone else wearing the same thing. Need some help finding accessories to match an outfit? Sister Sister Collective has evolved out of our other projects. For 20 years, Rachel has been buying run-down pubs and hotels to renovate, and Francie developed her skills working for a lifestyle company particularly enjoying the buying & marketing side of things.
Rachel owns The Cotswold Hat Club, a venture that unexpectedly became bigger than originally intended. Attending her partner’s National Hunt fixtures (he’s a jockey), Rachel amassed a collection of hats made to match her racing outfits. She began hiring out the hats and now stocks over 500 hats and headpieces.
To help with hires for Royal Ascot, Francie was drafted in. Dozens of ladies arrived at the shop in Stow-on-the-Wold, clutching their dresses but with no idea what hat or accessories to add to build their outfit. We began helping with not just hats but accessories too, and Sister Sister Collective was born.
